After Getting a Special ‘Top 10’ Chain, Kirk Cousins Eyes $200,000 Worth Grills Adorned by His Star WR

The Vikings handed the 49ers, who had been leading the season up till recently, an upset loss during Monday Night Football. The Kirk Cousins-led Vikings beat the 49ers 22-17, despite the absence of star WR Justin Jefferson who was cheering from the sidelines, due to an injury.

However, a post-game moment between Cousins and Jefferson ended up grabbing the spotlight. Jefferson crashed the QB’s post-game interview with ESPN to hang a massive gold chain around Cousins’ neck. In a hilarious twist, Kirk gestured toward Jefferson’s grills to indicate that he would be more pleased to get something similar to them for himself.

Kirk Cousins is Top 10 QB in The NFL?

The Minnesota Vikings handed a 22-17 loss to the top defense in the league, with QB Kirk Cousins putting up a cool 378 yards and 2 TDs. It was his fourth 300-yard game this season and first since Week 3. While the 49ers had six quarterback hits, they failed to sack Cousins, who went relatively unscathed with just one interception. Deservingly, the veteran QB was lauded for his performance against one of the top teams this season. And his biggest cheerleader was WR Justin Jefferson.

Jefferson was placed on injury reserved ahead of Week 6 after he suffered a hamstring injury in Week 5. However, that didn’t stop him from cheering for his team and his QB, who are now 2-0 without him. The jolly WR came running to Kirk Cousins while he was being interviewed by ESPN and placed a massive gold chain around his neck that said ‘TOP 10,’ and he hyped up his QB. Cousins, the jokester, immediately pointed to Jefferson’s iconic teeth grills and said,

“I’m gonna work on getting some of these though. I gotta get that… I’m gonna take it (the chain). I love it. SportsCenter? I like it.”

While Kirk Cousins appreciated the gold chain, it seems that Justin Jefferson’s diamond grillz were what he truly desired. But Jefferson’s not wrong. While the Vikings still have a losing record after seven games, Kirk Cousins has been dishing out solid numbers throughout this season. He has completed 67.2 percent of his passes for 1,679 yards, 14 touchdowns, and only four interceptions after Week 6. His Week 7 numbers will further bump up his rating among starting quarterbacks.

Justin Jefferson’s Iconic Ice Cold Grillz

Justin Jefferson is somewhat of a jewelry aficionado, and he loves grillz. The $7 million worth athlete had the grills custom-made and implanted delicately to look like braces, rather than an accessory. He debuted the look at a game against the Rams in December of 2021.

According to Luxegrillz, the grills in Justin Jefferson’s teeth cost a whopping $200,000 without maintenance services included. The jeweler also stated that Jefferson’s teeth are custom-made Baguette Diamond Grillz. The WR is the only NFL athlete sporting this look. But it seems, Kirk Cousins is also looking to get some diamond teeth.
