On Sunday afternoon, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will conclude their regular season against the Atlanta Falcons. Tampa Bay won the NFC South title last week against Carolina, but its starters are expected to play at least some of Week 18. Atlanta ended a four-game losing streak last week with a 20-19 victory over Arizona, and the Falcons will wrap up their disappointing season on Sunday.

On Sunday, the Buccaneers will face the Atlanta Falcons at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. It’s not often that a divisional match is a dead rubber, but with the Buccaneers locked into the playoffs and the Falcons looking ahead to next season, it feels like a game that neither team will be too disappointed to lose.
However, the Buccaneers’ injury list is quite lengthy. The good news is that Tom Brady is playing, but there are some players on this lengthy injury list. Carl Nassib, who has a pectoral injury, is one of the players on the injured list. He has already missed a few games due to injury.
Carl Nassib Injury Update
Nassib (pectoral), according to head coach Todd Bowles, will not play against the Falcons on Sunday.

Nassib opened Week 18 preparation with a pair of modest performances, but the 275-pounder is now expected to miss his fourth straight match this weekend due to a pectoral injury. Given that three other outside linebackers for Tampa Bay are currently on injured reserve, Joe Tryon-Shoyinka and Anthony Nelson should both handle high snap counts against Atlanta on Sunday.
Five players were ruled out of Sunday’s game by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Friday, including Vita Vea, Carl Nassib, Logan Ryan, Donovan Smith, and Carlton Davis III (shoulder, foot, pectoral, and knee) (calf).
Tampa Bay has already secured its playoff position, so there is nothing on the line going into this game. Although it’s expected that the Buccaneers will use their starters, it’s possible that they could end up being benched at some point. After defeating Arizona last week, Atlanta has some momentum going into the final week of the regular season.
