Every now and then, we come across people who want the leagues like NFL, NBA and NHL to be boycotted for several different reasons. As far as the NFL is concerned, many have spoken against the league as the injuries caused by the sport can lead to long term health consequences.

On the other hand, in the past, some have even started a boycott campaign due to political reasons. Back when former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick had famously decided to take a knee during a game while the national anthem was playing, social media platforms got flooded with boycott NFL campaigns.

While many people say that Colin wasn’t disrespecting the army and the flag with his actions, several people still do not buy it. Adding another name to list of people who want the leagues gone, renowned reporter Emerald Robinson recently Tweeted that all Christians must discard to league.

Renowned reporter Emerald Robinson wants all Christians to stop watching NFL, NBA & NHL

Interestingly, Robinson listed not one but a plethora of reasons behind her call for a boycott. “Dear Christians: it’s time to boycott the NFL, the NHL & the NBA until they become sports leagues again rather than rainbow-mafia organizations that spread anti-Christian propaganda,” she wrote.

While a lot of NFL fans lashed out at her for going all out against the leagues, a lot of them also blamed the competitions for becoming “too woke.”

The NFL-rigged debate has also been going on for quite a while now. Many fans pointed out that they have stopped watching the competition as it is completely scripted. Moreover, many also claimed that apart from just sports, the leagues to overlook almost every other social factor in order to regain the viewership.

Despite all this, leagues have been constantly attracting massive crowds which shows that in the end, sports is one factor that truly united everyone.
