Deion Sanders Beefs It Up After Making a Massive Claim for Shedeur Sanders' NFL Future

Deion Sanders’ son Shedeur is taking over the world of football by storm. He has turned a lot of heads with his incredible balling skills and ability to win games. But most importantly he has tremendously impressed NFL analysts who believe he is going to be a draft hit especially Mel Kiper Jr.

ESPN’s draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr. during his appearance at the Monday Blitz, shared his interesting views on Shedeur Sanders. The Colorado QB who has led the Buffs to two straight wins with incredible stats, and has impactful leadership, is making headlines for his possible NFL Draft expectations for the years 2024 and 2025.

Mel Kiper Jr. Believes Shedeur Sanders Will Go Big In NFL Draft

With more than 900 yards thrown and six passing touchdowns in his first two games, Kiper was more than impressed by Shedeur Sanders. He emphasized how fundamentally sound and accurate Shedeur is in addition to his top-notch rushing capabilities which have earned him a lot of spotlights at least in the recent past.

“Shedeur Sanders, to me right now, is a guaranteed high first-round pick,” Kiper said. “I think when you look at the way he’s played at Colorado, in this Sean Lewis offense, the accuracy has been unbelievable. He was at 68 percent at Jackson State those two years. He’s at 77.5 [percent at Colorado]. Hasn’t thrown an interception. He had nine rushing touchdowns in two years at Jackson State, he can roll right or left, he can make accurate throws, he throws a great ball, he’s unflappable. He looks like he’s in control at all times. You don’t know if they’re up or down, how they’re performing. It doesn’t matter.”

In his list of top QB prospects, Mel Kiper ranked only two players ahead of Shedeur which were Caleb Williams and Drake Maye. Additionally, Kiper also stated that by 2025 Shedeur can be the No. 1 overall pick in the league with the other two QBs gone. It only shows that Deion Sanders did not make Shedeur his QB1 for any other reason other than his exceptional balling skills which can be easily backed by his stats.

Meteoric Rise Of Deion Sanders’ Son

Shedeur Sanders became an overnight sensation, especially after his debut game with the Buffs. He absolutely shredded the TCU defense and set several records when he recorded 510 yards for four touchdowns. His NIL valuation has increased by a whopping $2.8 million in just two games surpassing Arch Manning and becoming the highest-valued football player.

He has certainly captivated many fans and has sparked a ray of hope not just within Boulder but the entire Colorado state. Shedeur is seen as the future of the NFL after just two games, but with 10 more games left in the schedule, it’s yet to be seen if he keeps this reputation up and going.
