However, through sheer hard-work and commitment, he went on to earn around $333 Million through football alone before finally calling it quits this year. However, despite earning big and enjoying insurmountable success, Brady was once denied membership by a Country Club.

Yes, as odd as it may sound, 7x Super Bowl champion Tom and his supermodel wife Gisele Bundchen’s application to join the Brookline Country Club was halted for two long years. Wherever Tom and Gisele go, the world follows. So when the Club had such an amazing opportunity to host the two famous personalities, why did they initially decide not to welcome them?

As it turns out, Tom and Gisele’s stardom, which always kept them in the limelight, was precisely the reason why the Club decided to halt their application. As per Golf.com, the Brookline Country club is very exclusive and their members prefer to stay away from all the razzmatazz.
To ensure that their privacy isn’t evaded, club members were against allowing Tom and Gisele into the exclusive facility, even when the 4th hole was almost in the backyard of Tom’s residence. However, as per The Boston Globe, the two stars were eventually made official members of the group back in 2017.
Before announcing his second and probably final retirement a few months back, Tom had aggregated around $333 Million in NFL salary and bonuses. Till now, this is the highest amount of money made by a footballer in his career. Moreover, tonnes of advertising contracts and lucrative investments through the years have also enabled Tom to construct a massive empire.
Even then, he was denied entry in the Club which became a massive piece of news in 2015. While there were some people who had sided with the club members, many Tom admirers didn’t share the same opinion.
Julian Edelman reflected on Brady not getting a Country Club membership
Tom’s former teammate and good friend Julian Edelman was also left baffled by the whole Country Club fiasco. During an interaction with Sam Morril, Edelman had claimed:
“Brookline mass, they wouldn’t let Brady in. They said he was too popular and they didn’t want that distraction. I heard he had to get in through his wife. You know the Country Club people.”
While there is no doubt that Tom was a massive figure in 2015 as well, now in 2023, he is bigger than ever. Many call him the greatest of all time and would probably shred any club to pieces if it refuses to let Brady in.
