Rob Gronkowski isn’t ready to believe in Tom Brady’s phenomenal hooping skills that the veteran QB displayed in his latest Instagram post. Gronk believes Brady isn’t as good a hooper as he is showing through his video. In a recent appearance on Kay Adams’ ‘Up & Adams’ show, Rob didn’t holding back while teasing his former teammate.

Gronkowski, during the show, called out Brady for a three-pointer challenge after seeing the NFL great show off his accurate three-pointers. It seems that Gronk is confident in his own basketball abilities and is ready to prove himself against the seven-time Super Bowl champion.

Talking about Brady’s accuracy on the basketball court, Gronk said, “I can tell you this, he took a 100 takes to get that many in a row. I’ve played with Tom before, he can not shoot that well. Maybe he’s been practicing since he retired.” The lighthearted exchange left Kay Adams in fits of laughter. On the other hand, Brady has yet to comment on Gronk’s view of his basketball skills.

Big Gronk Challenges Brady to a 3-Pointer Competition

Rob Gronkowski was serious when he playfully called out Tom Brady after the quarterback’s viral hooping video. Gronk challenged his former teammate to a three-point contest, expressing his confidence by saying, “I challenge him to a three-point contest hands down.”

Apart from this, Gronk also commented on the rumors circling in the NFL arena about a possible return of Tom Brady. The rumors are suggesting that Brady could take the mantle from the injured Aaron Rodgers at the New York Jets. However, Gronk just dismissed the slightest idea of Brady joining the Jets.

Gronk also revealed his renewed interest in basketball which he has developed after retiring last year. He stated, “I actually started playing basketball again last week. I got two practice sessions in. I love the game of basketball and love shooting hoops, but Tom, I challenge you to a game of HORSE anytime.”

This friendly challenge by Gronk has added an entertaining twist to the friendly banter between the former New England Patriots teammates who also are the best of buddies.
