Despite Joe Burrow’s Record Breaking $275,000,000 Contract, Lamar Jackson Will Emerge as the Highest Paid NFL Player in 2023

Joe Burrow has quickly established himself as one of the top-tier quarterbacks in the competition. After all, taking one’s team to back to back conference championship games, after going through a knee surgery post rookie season, isn’t an easy task to accomplish. As it turns out, not only on the field, Burrow utilizes the great head on his shoulders when it comes to making major financial calls as well.

While one can expect young rookies to go crazy with their paychecks, Burrow surely doesn’t belong to that category. In fact, as reported by bengals.com, after signing his massive $36.2 million rookie deal, ‘Mighty Joe’ had claimed that he doesn’t plan on spending even a dime of his contract money. “I’m just going to live off the marketing money and let that accrue in my bank account,” he had claimed. As it turns out, it has become a lot easier for ‘Joey B’ to live by this rule as endorsement money is being showered upon him by innumerable brands at the moment.

Joe Burrow is taking home $15 million per annum through endorsements

Joe Burrow well and truly proved that he is going to stay in the top QB conversations for some time to come after delivering impeccable performances in 2021 and 2o22. Moreover, ‘Cool Joe’ is also one of the most good looking guys active in the competition. When all these factors are combined, it isn’t exactly rocket science to understand that in Burrow we have one of the most marketable athletes in the game.

Hence, after just 3 years into the league, Joe Burrow has secured endorsement deals with major brands like Nike, Nerf, Bose, Kroger, Lowe’s, Fanatics, Cashapp, and Buffalo Wild Wings. As reported by sports entrepreneur Andrew Petcash, for endorsing all these brands, the Bengals QB takes home around $15,000,000 every year.

In fact, Burrow also makes sure that he gives back to the community which has showered so much love on him. Reportedly, Burrow has started two initiatives: Joe Burrow Foundation and Joe Burrow Hunger Relief Fund, with an aim to support as many underprivileged and unfortunate souls as possible. Looking at all this, it isn’t tough to understand why the people of Cincinnati are so fond of their star player.

Burrow has already started his entrepreneurial journey

While the lucrative NFL deal and endorsement contracts are set to consistently bring in a lot of money for Joe, he understands the uncertainties involved with the cruel world of football. Hence, to ensure long term earnings, Joe has invested heavily in multiple companies.

As mentioned by Andrew Petcash in his Tweet, Joe invested in protein breakfast mix brand ‘Kodiak cakes’ back in 2022. Along with that, he has also burnt a $1.5 million worth hole in his pocket to buy a farm in Iowa. Moreover, to provide the right platform to the women volleyball players, Burrow and his parents founded Women’s Volleyball League, which is set to debut in 2024.

Without a doubt, Joe seems to have figured out the secret behind winning games, and winning hearts.
