Kirk Cousins, Over Patrick Mahomes, Will Be the Biggest Star of Netflix's "Quarterback" Doccumentary

Kirk Cousins, Patrick Mahomes, and Marcus Mariota are set to shine in Netflix’s upcoming documentary Quarterback, and the Vikings QB has a chance to steal the show. Despite Mahomes being a bigger and more successful name, Cousins‘ attitude and personality might just put him over the top. One Vikings analyst, although biased, certainly believes that Cousins come out much more likable through this documentary and that he’ll be the star of the show.

Quarterback will represent a unique partnership between the NFL and Netflix, as it’ll go deep into the lives of Mahomes, Cousins, and Mariota. The quarterbacks were mic’d up the entire season, and now, we’ll have full access to all the details of the gridiron. However, the best part about this documentary is that fans will also get a look into these three players’ lives outside the football field. It’ll be a nice mix of football action and personal living to truly give us an insight into the life of a quarterback.

Kirk Cousins can outshine Patrick Mahomes and Marcus Mariota

Mahomes, Cousins, and Mariota is an interesting cast to bring together for this documentary, but it’ll also be a really fun group of quarterbacks to follow.

Mahomes is the star of the NFL. He just won the league MVP and the Super Bowl MVP and is currently the best quarterback by far. We know what his mentality and personality are like. On game days, he’s locked in and isn’t afraid to talk his talk. He’s a big family man, and he has the charismatic humor that you like to see.

Cousins is one of the NFL’s louder characters. Of course, his “You like that?” is one of the most viral catchphrases, and his video last year, where he was dancing shirtless with chains on in a plane, is one of the NFL’s all-time classic moments.

Marcus Mariota’s personality is a little less known given he’s fallen out of league popularity, but he seems absolutely dedicated to the game of football and is still committed to playing at a high level.

One Vikings analyst believes that because of the way these personalities handle themselves, Kirk Cousins will emerge as the star. Cousins has his quirks which makes him one of the best characters to follow in the NFL. The analyst also believes that because of this, Cousins will inevitably leave a bunch of meme-worthy content to follow up on.

Cousins, Mahomes, and Mariota will show how truly difficult the job of a quarterback is

If you’ve ever wondered how difficult the job of an NFL quarterback is, this documentary series should give you some insight. Being an NFL quarterback is one of the hardest sporting jobs in the world. You’re responsible for the offense every week, and the game plans are so variable that things could be drastically different from day to day.

You need to stand in the pocket and take hits, you need to be quick with your decisions, you need to have a good arm, and so many other physical strengths just to survive the physicality of the game. Then, you need to be mentally sharp. Draw in what the defense is doing, tell your team, make adjustments on the fly and so much more.

This docuseries is going to provide many interesting moments, and the trailer is already generating a lot of hype.
