“No Smiling No More, No Jewelry No Nothing”: Determined Shedeur Sanders Returns to Practice After Harrowing Loss Against Stanford
The Buffs went into their bye with a crushing loss to Stanford. The team that has shown incredible confidence even in the face of adversity, such as losing their star cornerback to injury, surely will take a hit after the gut-wrenching loss. Losing a “won” game, the Colorado Buffaloes threw a 29-0 lead in 2OT.
But the crew is looking to make an explosive comeback. Despite the loss, the boys are back to practice and this time around QB Shedeur Sanders has some changes he wants to employ. In a practice video posted by ‘Well Off Media,’ the crew can be seen back on the field, with renewed determination and focus.
No More Smiling or Flexing From Shedeur?
It seems that nothing can break the spirits of the boys at Colorado. The practice in the bye is back in full force and they might be more motivated than ever after the gut-wrenching loss to the Cardinal. Deion Sanders Jr behind the camera couldn’t help but clown Shedeur during practice.
QB Shedeur Sanders has gotten a lot of heat for his cockiness, in terms of his signature smirk and the celebratory watch flex. Clowning the criticism Junior asks Sheduer to not smile or wear jewelry anymore, “no smiling, no nothing, you can’t smile no more,” he says to a grinning Shedeur who tries to suppress his smile and put on his game face.
Shedeur replied in the affirmative, agreeing to everything his older brother had to say. Further, Junior asks Shedeur to not wear his jewelry anymore, to which Shedeur replies, “No nothing bro, can’t do nothing bro, I got to chill bro,” echoing the sentiment of his haters. As the joke comes to a head, Junior says,
“You gotta chill bro…change your life bro, change your whole life…because of a loss.”
Cornerback Travis Hunter joined in on the clownery to take it even further and say, “change your whole name,” prompting Shedeur to finally let go of his game face and snicker. He asks Hunter to “better not stream anymore” and to not wear a chain any more. As they gear up to go against tougher contenders after two weeks, the boys surely need to iron out some kinks, but they’re not going to let go of having fun while they’re doing it. As Junior put it,
“Everybody is STILL going to wear jewelry, keep smiling, and keep enjoying the sport that they love playing. Just gone fix the corrections that need to be fixed.“
Shedeur Sanders Gets Trolled for Promoting Merch During Game
As if the loss against the Cardinal wasn’t embarrassing enough, trolling soon followed the QB out of the gridiron. As it turns out, Shedeur had apparently posted on his Instagram story during halftime. The 21-year-old was promoting his merch on Instagram after coming in from a 29-0 loss.

At the post-game conference, Coach Prime talked of complacency within his team following the halftime lead. The fans were brutal with their trolling of Shedeur and his half-time posting.
