Odell Beckham Jr., the highest-paid WR in 2018 with a $95 million contract, never shies away from flaunting his wealth with extravagant purchases like shoes, watches, and diamonds. As one of the best wide receivers in the league, he naturally attracts attention, but he consistently strives to gain even more eyeballs with flashy moves on the field.

OBJ’s obsession with flexing his luxurious accessories reached its peak when in 2019 he was spotted casually wearing a high-end Richard Mille watch worth $190,000 all while playing against the Tennessee Titans during an NFL game. Pulling such power moves over his opponents is a form of style, OBJ has adopted in his years as a star player.

Odell Beckham Jr. wore a $190,000 watch to the game

Odell Beckham Jr.’s move to the Cleveland Browns in the 2019 offseason was a blockbuster trade, generating excitement among fans. The receiver’s presence added to the anticipation of watching the Browns play. In their season opener against the Titans, OBJ made headlines not only for his performance on the field but also for the expensive watch he wore during the game.

He was spotted wearing a $190,000 Richard Mille watch which is worth more than $300,000 on the secondary market. The watch stole the show however his new football accessory caused a stir. Unfortunately, the Browns went on to lose the game by 43-13 which did not look good on the star wider receiver. Additionally, keeping in mind NFL’s rule on wearing hard objects during games it did make Shannon Sharpe furious about his unnecessary showboating.

The watch however was a RM 11-03 McLaren, one of Richard Mille’s many racing-inspired watches. It had an orange wristband that matched the theme of the Browns. But many did not agree with him seeing that as an opportunity to wear it in his Browns debut game. However, it’s undeniable that it certainly looked good.

Odell Beckham Jr.’s $200,000 Diamond Studded Super Bowl Cleats

This was not the last time OBJ pulled a power move on his opponents by wearing an extra luxurious accessory during a game. He even donned a $200,000 diamond studded cleats to his first Super Bowl with the Los Angeles Rams. Those cleats were custom-made by renowned footwear designer Dominic Ciambrone, aka The Shoe Surgeon.

“It’s not about making the most expensive cleat,” Ciambrone, told PEOPLE. “Odell’s not only a top player, but he’s a big personality and he likes fashion and he likes to stand out and that’s what I like. So it just kind of all came together.”

Now that Beckham has teamed up with the Baltimore Ravens and Lamar Jackson after a year away from NFL, it’s yet to be seen what power move he pulls this season.
