Apparently, the high school team was to do a commercial for sunglass brand Oakley. However, they were unaware of the nature of the commercial who would be involved, or when it would air. One of the team’s defensive tackle, per KCTV5, said,
“We were just sitting in our locker room and our coach took our phones and then all of a sudden he was like, ‘Alright, let’s head up there’ and then they put us on the bus.” Another student said, “we had some guesses, but coach was telling us, ‘No, why would he be here?’ It was just really unexpected.”
