Patrick Mahomes & Travis Kelce Destroyed Post Malone In Beer Pong, Leading To $45,000,000 Rapper Tattooing their Autographs

Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce took their beer-pong skills to another level when they destroyed Post Malone, who’s worth $45 million as per Marca, leading to an epic tattoo bet. Following the Chiefs’ Super Bowl win in 2020, the team was parading around the streets of Kansas City to celebrate. Coincidentally, rapper Post Malone had a concert in the city that very day. Mahomes and Kelce decide to go to the show last minute and gained access to meet the famous R&B artist backstage. That led to an all-time beer-pong duel in which Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce seemingly obliterated Post Malone.

This story is already an all-time great, but it’s crazy to think about the fact that it came right after Mahomes and Kelce won their first Super Bowls. The Chiefs were celebrating, and clearly, the two wanted to get in on it. They had just completed the ultimate NFL goal, and now, it was their turn to party. With the Super Bowl parade already giving them a chance to party and let loose, attending Post Malone’s concert must have just been an extension of an already crazy day.

Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce Show Up Post Malone In Beer Pong

Patrick Mahomes sat down in an exclusive with GQ to tell the story of this Post Malone interaction, and it’s just crazy to think about where the story goes.

Firstly, Mahomes and Kelce didn’t have tickets to the concert. They hoped that winning the Super Bowl would be enough, and surely it was. “We didn’t buy tickets,” Mahomes explained. “But once we won the Super Bowl, we’re kinda like, ‘Can we get a suite?’”

From there, Post Malone invited Mahomes and Kelce backstage before the show for a quick chat, but one thing led to another, and soon the three celebrities were playing beer pong. “I guess he loves beer pong,” Mahomes said. And Bud Light. “That’s, like, his thing.”

That night, Kelce was “unconscious” as when Mahomes asked his TE about the beer pong game, Kelce said, “I don’t know if I’ve been that hot on the pong table ever in my life.”

Post Malone tried everything to beat the pair, even switching partners and bringing in fellow rapper Swae Lee, but it was all for naught. After 9-10 games, Posty had to go put on his show, but he refused to leave until he won. After about 14-15 games, Post Malone became frustrated and decided to up the stakes.

He asks Mahomes and Kelce for their signatures and says that he would tattoo them on his body if he lost. Unfortunately for him, he did end up losing. Mahomes couldn’t believe Post Malone actually kept his word too.

“He has a tattoo artist literally in the room,” Mahomes recalled alarmingly. “I’m like, ‘Dude, you do not actually have to get a tattoo of our autographs.’” However, the rapper was clearly a man of his word and got the tattoo done.

Mahomes had been drinking all day, and he said that he was definitely over 20 beers at that point which is why the signature looks the way it does. However, he also says that he doesn’t know how many beers he drank “because half the beers were on my clothes.”

In the end, Mahomes and Kelce had a great time at the concert, and they even gifted Post Malone a jersey as a thank-you gift. All around, it’s a crazy story and it’s one that Mahomes will be telling for years to come. You can read the full exclusive on GQ here.

Mahomes and Kelce Were Just Getting Started

As Mahomes and Kelce had their fun that night, the goal was already set for the two. Continue to dominate. Mahomes and Kelce are easily the best QB-TE duo in the league right now, and it’s their pairing that makes Kansas City a threat every year.

They’re fresh off another Super Bowl win, and with both of them locked into Kansas City for years to come, there’ll be plenty more dominant wins between the two. That also means there’ll be plenty more celebrations like this one leading to perhaps even crazier stories.
