The NFL regular season is almost over, and the playoffs are just around the corner. With the season over for most of the teams in the league, the rumor mills have already started spinning stories about potential trades and acquisitions. One major developing news traveling the grapevine is a potential team for Tom Brady next season. Analyst Colin Cowherd seems to have a couple of options lined up for him.

Talking on his show ‘The Herd with Colin Cowherd’, he discusses Brady’s potential landing spots with different guests. He also goes on a monologue of his own. He makes his predictions based on an article published in the ‘Las Vegas Review Journal’. Cowherd’s analysis is that Brady will be a great fit if he decides to move to either the Las Vegas Raiders or the San Francisco 49ers.

Cowherd is positive that the Raiders are a potential destination. He says, “Raiders want Brady. The reason they benched Derek Carr is because they wanted to keep him healthy. So they wouldn’t have to pay him. They have players like Maxx Crosby, Davante Adams, Darren Waller, Josh Jacobs in their prime and they want to get the most out of those star players.”

Is Tom Brady eyeing Sunny San Fransisco or Viva Las Vegas as his next home?

One of the biggest reasons for Tom Brady to pick the Raiders over the 49ers will be the presence of Josh McDaniel. McDaniel, now the Raiders’ head coach, was the offensive coordinator at the New England Patriots when Brady was playing there too. So Brady’s relationship with him will be at an all-time high, and so will the trust factor.

Cowherd’s guest on the show, former Patriots QB Drew Bledsoe, feels that the 49ers would make a fine choice. He believes that even with Jimmy Garoppolo as their QB, they’re having a great run, so Brady could definitely be a welcome boost. However, these two aren’t the only teams touted to be the 7 time Super Bowl winner’s next home.

The New Orleans Saints are also a frontrunner in the race to bag Brady. Former Saints head coach Sean Payton is rumored to make a return to his home team. This means Brady could very well go to the Saints and try his luck there.

Then there is the question of the Miami Dolphins. With their star QB Tua Tagovailoa suffering repeated concussions in a single season, they will be looking to get a good replacement. Brady’s presence will be a massive boost to their offense. Especially when they already have great receivers such as Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle.

Whichever team he decides to play for, it will very well determine the closing chapters of his NFL career. Nothing less than a Super Bowl will help him forget this tragic year that he’s had. This means he is only going to pick a team capable of giving him that. Where will he go? How will he eventually fare?
