Shannon Sharpe and Skip Bayless have been longtime hosts of FS1’s Undisputed, but with Sharpe leaving that partnership ends, and it looks like Sharpe isn’t convinced Fox is making the best decision. Along with “First Take”, “Undisputed” is a premier sports talk show series, co-hosted by Shannon Sharpe and Skip Bayless. The duo left us with some memorable moments and arguments, but now, that partnership is over. Tension was brewing throughout the 2022-23 season, and it looks Sharpe finally had enough.

The two had spent seven years together, but now they’re looking at the end of the road. Sharpe’s last segment with FS1 will be broadcasted after the end of the NBA Finals this year. Along with Sharpe’s hosting duties on “Undisputed”, his “Club Shay Podcast”, hosted on YouTube and social media platforms, will also be leaving Fox Sports. However, don’t think that this will be a clean split.
Shannon Sharpe’s Twitter account has shown him liking posts that indicate that he believes Fox made a terrible decision by sticking through with Skip Bayless over him.
Shannon Sharpe invites rumors of beef between him and Skip Bayless, akin to Stephen A. Smith and Max Kellerman’s falling out
Shannon Sharpe’s Twitter account is indicative of what the 2022-23 season looked like for him on “Undisputed.” Sharpe was visibly frustrated with Bayless on more than one occasion, and the pressure of partnering with him must have built up.
First, Sharpe was miffed over a debate he was having with Skip early in the season when he called out Brady for performing badly. Skip is a die-hard Brady stan, and he didn’t take lightly to the criticism, instead turning around to take a more personal shot at Sharpe by saying Brady was better than him.

The second biggest tipping point came during Damar Hamlin’s scary injury against the Bengals. Hamlin suffered cardiac arrest, and the game between the two teams was canceled. However, Skip Tweeted something insensitive at the time.
His Tweet read, “No doubt the NFL is considering postponing the rest of this game — but how? This late in the season, a game of this magnitude is crucial to the regular-season outcome … which suddenly seems so irrelevant.”
Sharpe took the next day off, and when he returned, he was once again visibly frustrated with Skip.

Now, his Twitter profile shows that he firmly believes that Fox has downgraded by not fighting harder to keep him around. Just take a look at his likes:
Update: Shannon Sharpe “Liked” the following tweet saying that FOX are making a mistake by keeping Skip Bayless over him.

It’s safe to say that Sharpe really wanted out of FS1. He endured a tough year alongside his co-host this year, and now, he’s ready to move on and find something better for himself.
Sharpe’s Tweets hint at a Stephen A. Smith-Max Kellerman style beef
Shannon Sharpe and Skip Bayless’ breakup isn’t the first iconic sports talk show host duo that have split recently. Stephen A. Smith and Max Kellerman also had a falling out when Kellerman was let go of his job.
However, reports indicated that Smith was disenchanted with Kellerman and didn’t believe in the partnership’s future. Perhaps, there was a similar level of distrust and animosity with Sharpe and Skip here too. After all, the Tweets Sharpe’s liked don’t really say much differently.
