After receiving much media attention for their pursuit of Odell Beckham Jr., the Dallas Cowboys added free agent wide receiver, T.Y. Hilton, on Monday. After his 10-year tenure with the Colts came to an end after the 2021 season, Hilton was left unsigned, but has now found a home.

The Cowboys hosted Beckham for two days last week, but no offer was made. He declined to speak about his visit but declared that he wouldn’t participate in the regular season after he left.

Jerry Jones stated that he has not given up on Odell Beckham Jr. When asked if the pursuit of OBJ was over, Jerry told the reporters that it was surely not.
“Certainly not. Put a big exclamation mark on that,” Jones had said. Jerry frequently states that he reserves the right to change his mind. So maybe he wasn’t completely lying. When OBJ gave them a reason not to sign him, the Dallas Cowboys wisely decided they were done.
Skip Bayless Welcomes T.Y Hilton on Twitter
Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe had a heated argument about this topic, and Skip’s Twitter update about his point of view on the matter is quite hilarious. Bayless lost his sh*t over this topic in the most recent episode, clearly stating that no one wants Hilton because he has been out for a long time and is an underperformer.
I’d much rather have had Odell – but I’m told his knee isn’t anywhere near ready. T.Y. Hilton fought through 3 different injuries last season. He’s 33. Nobody wanted him until now. But he once ran 4.3. He’s made 4 Pro Bowls. So … WELCOME TO DALLAS, T.Y. SEE YOU IN THE END ZONE.

He also stated that Hilton is too old to renew his contract with any team, but shortly after it was revealed that Hilton would be joining Dallas, Skip was seen on Twitter changing his statement. Skip continues to state that Hilton is 33 years old.
With the Colts in 2016, Hilton, a four-time Pro Bowler, had career highs of 91 catches and 1,448 yards. He has nine thousand career yards with 53 touchdowns in 143 games and four other 1,000-yard seasons.
