Trevor Lawrence has been humiliated on several occasions in the last two years, and now it seems that he just cannot take it anymore from the media analysts. Recently, the Jaguars quarterback criticized NFL Network’s Kyle Brandt for rolling out QB rankings and placing him with a bunch of newbies in the NFL arena.

As soon as the rankings were released to the public, the third-year quarterback hit back with a cheeky response on Twitter. One can understand Lawrence’s frustration as no quarterback of his experience and caliber would want to see himself listed at the bottom of the chart.
Trevor Lawrence hits back at Kyle Brandt’s QB rankings
Every offseason, NFL analysts find themselves in hot water after they roll out mock drafts and similar types of rankings. Many players don’t seem to enjoy this process and often express their frustration on social media. As far as the Jaguars quarterback is concerned, he actually did well last season and guided his team to the NFL playoffs which isn’t a small achievement.
Despite his performance, Good Morning Football’s beloved host placed him at the bottom of his list. On Wednesday, Brandt sparked a new controversy with his seven-tier chart for all the starting quarterbacks playing in the league.

Surprisingly, he placed Trevor Lawrence on the sixth tier along with Patriots quarterback Mac Jones and Steelers passer Kenny Pickett. Furthermore, only a bunch of this year’s NFL draft rookies were present in the last row. This analysis irked the 23-year-old, who instantly took this issue to social media.
“The game ain’t played on paper,” Lawrence wrote on Twitter, tagging the post shared by Brandt on his show. Certainly, it took no time for these comments to spread like wildfire.
How good was Lawrence in the last two seasons?
The Clemson product was selected by the Jaguars in the first round of the 2021 NFL draft. His rookie season was maligned with a bit of rustiness; however, he bounced back in some style the very next season.
Lawrence recorded 4,113 passing yards with 25 touchdowns and eight interceptions in 17 regular season games. Probably his most spectacular performance came during a matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers, when he rallied a 27-0 deficit into a winning position.
He conceded four interceptions in the first half, but in the last two quarters, Lawrence gave a visual treat to all his fans. He led his team to a 31-30 comeback victory and proceeded toward the divisional round game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Although he lost that game, his efforts throughout the season were massively appreciated. What do you think? What should have been the right spot for Lawrence?
