Tom Brady may not be playing in the Olympics, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t involved, congratulating Dryamond Green and Team USA’s basketball team when they won gold.

Team USA had a little shaky road to the Gold Medal this year. They dropped several exhibition games to supposedly inferior teams, and lost their first group stage match to France when the Olympics started.

However, they were able to quickly turn their act around, winning each of their last five games as they took home the gold for USA for the fourth straight year.

Tom Brady congratulated Draymond Green and the rest of the squad with a personal phone call to let him know how proud he was.

Tom Brady Called Draymond Green To Congratulate Him

Tom Brady is one of the most outgoing and friendly NFL players you’ll find. He’ll never hold back from reaching out to his teammates or even friends who play a different sport.

It was the same case when Team USA won Gold as he hit up his buddy Draymond Green:

Draymond looks thrilled in the picture to receive a call from perhaps the greatest player in NFL history. His Instagram caption definitely asserts Brady at the top of the mountain as he calls him the GOAT.

He also hilariously makes a joke about “acting normal” when such a player calls. Tom Brady has built himself a reputation to where even athletes of others sports recognize his greatness.

Draymond and the rest of the Team USA squad will be journeying back to their homes now where Tom Brady is currently training in preparation for the 2021-22 NFL Season.
