The Cleveland Browns are loaded on both sides of the ball and are legitimate contenders to challenge the Kansas City Chiefs for AFC supremacy. The Browns had a great offseason and have a ton of expectations heading into next season. But Colin Cowherd believes that the team might not be as good as they seem.

The Browns’ biggest need heading into the 2021 season was to address their defensive woes. They brought in safety John Johnson III and CB Troy Hill to add to Denzel Ward and Grant Delpit in the secondary. Jadeweon Clowney also signed with the Browns to play alongside Myles Garrett. And then GM Andrew Berry drafted Greg Newsome and Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah who could very well be the steal of the draft.

On offense, Baker Mayfield made steady improvements throughout the 2020 season. So it’s an educated assumption that will make a big step forward, considering he will have the same HC for the first time in his career. Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt lead one of the best running back units in the NFL supported by possibly the best offensive line in the league.
And all of this is apart from star wideouts Odell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry, and a loaded Tight End unit.

NFL.com named the Cleveland Browns as the most complete unit in the NFL. But Colin Cowherd didn’t agree.
Colin Cowherd compared the Cleveland Browns to Coachella.
Colin Cowherd reacted to the NFL.com piece that stated that the Browns have the most complete roster in the league on his FS1/Fox Sports Radio show today, and said that the team will end up underwhelming their fans like the music festival Coachella.
“Cleveland’s got a lot of big names… OBJ, Baker, Kareem Hunt, Jadeveon Clowney. Yeah, OBJ’s never healthy, the Browns were better when Baker threw less last year, Kareem Hunt’s a backup, and Clowney’s inconsistent and hurt a lot,” Cowherd said on his FS1/Fox Sports Radio show today.
“When I look at Buffalo, Tampa, Kansas City, I have proven performers in big games and quarterbacks I’ve seen at the highest level take over games. That’s not what Cleveland is. You know what Cleveland’s a little bit like?… We have a music festival in the desert called Coachella…Cleveland’s got a little Coachella. Sounds big. Sounds like the time of your life. After a couple of years and a few rum drinks and five days in a tent, you’re like ‘It’s time to go home now and take a shower.’”
The Cleveland Browns are @coachella:

“Kansas City’s ready to win a Super Bowl. San Francisco, if Garoppolo’s upright, is ready to win a Super Bowl. Tampa just won a Super Bowl. Buffalo, now that they went and attacked their defensive line, is ready to win a Super Bowl. Baltimore, adding receivers, is ready to win a Super Bowl. Cleveland? Got a little Coachella.”
