Nicolas Pepe misses absolute stunner against Sheffield United in Premier League match

Nicolas Pepe misses absolute stunner against Sheffield United in the recent Premier League match as the player still struggles in England.

Nicolas Pepe was highly rated before coming to Arsenal this summer but the French player is struggling to find his feet settled in the Premier League.

Pepe was deemed to be a success in Arsenal before making his move, however, the player hasn’t delivered as much his price tag obligates him to do. The player’s first goal for the club came after Pierre-Emrick Aubameyang sacrificed his penalty for him.

Amidst all of this, things have kind off gone worse for the French International after he misses a sitter against Sheffield United, as the Gunners visited them in the 9th game-week of the Premier League.

It was 0-0 in the game, when Pepe missed a fine pass from Sead Kolasinac, as he whipped a delightful cross in from the left. Pepe was there to meet the ball but he couldn’t make contact from just five yards out.

It is obvious that he has not been able to settle in the league but there have been very few moments of brilliance by him too, which can calm down the fans.

Moreover, if Pepe had scored in that opportunity, then the outcome of the game could have been favourable for Arsenal, as the lead could have pressured the Blades but on contrary, they scored the opener a few minutes later to send Arsenal in a deficit.

With this, the North London club indeed are in trouble, as a win was much required for them to concrete their position in the top-4 but in the end, Sheffield United has managed to uphold their impressive start in the league.

Right now, Arsenal needs to convert the score in their favour, as the second half is on its way.
