NZ vs WI Fantasy Prediction: New Zealand vs West Indies 1st Test – 3 December (Hamilton). The Blackcaps are expected to dominate the visitors in the best format of the game.

Hosts New Zealand will take on West Indies in the 1st test match of the two matches series. The test games in New Zealand are always fascinating and, two teams with some thrilling pacers are on the show.

Hosts will welcome their captain Kane Williamson and Trent Boult for this important series. The team is pretty much settled for the hosts, with some experienced players in their ranks. Tim Southee and Niel Wagner have been fantastic for this side whereas, Tom Blundell has solved the opening slot worries. This should be an easy game for the hosts.

West Indies are lead by Jason Holder, who is the no. 1 all-rounder in ICC test match rankings and, he would like to prove his quality yet again in this series. The visitors lost to England in their last away tour and, this should be yet another challenge for them. Darren Bravo proved himself in the warm-up games and would be raring to go in the series. Kemar Roach and Shannon Gabriel will lead the fast bowling of this side.

New Zealand would definitely go as the favourites in their home conditions but, West Indies is a very talented team and can certainly hurt the hosts in any kind of leniency.

Pitch Conditions

The Pitch of the Seddon Park in Hamilton is expected to be a good pitch of batting. The ban of saliva will certainly hurt the pace bowlers and they would like to take advantage of the initial overs on the grassy track.

Probable XI for both sides:-

New Zealand – Tom Latham, Tom Blundell, Kane Williamson, Ross Taylor, Henry Nicholls, Will Young, Mitchell Santner, Tim Southee, Trent Boult, Neil Wagner, Kyle Jamieson.

West Indies – Kraigg Brathwaite, John Campbell, Darren Bravo, Shamarh Brooks, Jermaine Blackwood, Shane Dowrich (WK), Jason Holder ©, Roston Chase, Kemar Roach, Alzarri Joseph, Shannon Gabriel.
