Paul Pogba risks the ire of Man Utd fans with Liverpool statement. The Frenchman has missed a majority of the season due to an ankle injury.
Paul Pogba has been a player that has been splitting opinions among Manchester United fans for quite some time now. While he is arguably their best player, the constant news of him wanting to leave the club for either Real Madrid or Juventus has left a bad taste in the mouths of many.

The fact that his agent Mino Raiola constantly slanders the club he plays for does him no favors either. His silence on the matter is seen by many as a support to his agent, who many argue, is plotting the Frenchman’s exit from the club as soon as possible.
The 26-year old has now risked angering Manchester United fans by praising the Red Devils’ biggest rivals, Liverpool. While it is hard to argue with what he has to say about Jurgen Klopp’s men, it is a certainty that many at Old Trafford will be far from pleased.

‘They are so way ahead of everyone else,’ Pogba told ESPN.
“They have not lost a single game yet this season in the league. They already have one hand on the Premier League trophy.
“As a Manchester United player and with the rivalry between us, we don’t want them to win the title. We don’t want anyone else to win apart from us, but as a football lover and a respectful player to opposition team, I have to say that they deserve to be where they are today.
“They have been even better than last season when they won the Champions League and the season before when they [lost the final to Real Madrid].”
Liverpool continued their march to a maiden Premier League victory with yet another win as they beat West Ham 3-2 on Monday. The Reds only have to win four more matches to guarantee the trophy.
Paul Pogba on the other hand, looks set to make an exit from Manchester in the summer.
