Paul Pogba has pushed for a move out of Manchester United, according to Express journalist Jack Otway.

Paul Pogba has reportedly agreed a contract with FC Barcelona and told Manchester United that he wants to leave the club.

The French midfielder returned to Manchester United training earlier this week. However, he has been linked with a move away to Barcelona ever since the World Cup final last month. Paul Pogba has had a few differences with United’s manager, Jose Mourinho, which have further fuelled the speculation.

Earlier, Italian journalist Gianluca di Marzio reported that Barcelona offered 50m plus Yerry Mina and Andre Gomes for Paul Pogba. However, United rejected the bid.

There were also reports of Paul Pogba meeting Eric Abidal, the technical director of FC Barcelona in the United States.

Pogba returned to Manchester United in 2016 after leaving the club as a youth player for Juventus. In his two seasons at the club, Pogba won three major trophies but showed inconsistency in his own performances.

The French midfielder, however, had an excellent World Cup as he was central to national team’s success in the tournament. Moreover, he also scored an excellent goal in the World Cup final as France eased past Croatia 4-2 to lift the trophy.
