Paul Pogba capped off an individually brilliant World Cup with a stunning left footed finish against Croatia. The 25 year old had one of the best tournaments in his career. Such a lightning and consistent performance was a fabulous way to answer all his critics.

The 89 million pound man has been receiving harsh criticism because of his poor form at the end of last season. He was involved in a string of poor form and also a supposed quarrel with boss Jose Mourinho.

The Frenchman has also had to see himself get criticised for his off field lifestyle. Several derogatory comments have been passed against Pogba by fans due to his social media posts, propensity to change hairstyles and frequent dabs,

However, he was spotted playing a leader’s role when France beat Argentina 4-3 in the World Cup round of 16. The former Juventus man delivered a speech which made a lot of fans proud of him.

He showcased the 1-0 Euro 2016 final loss to Portugal as a motivation and asked the side to keep it with themselves to always use as an experience in the future and stay down to earth.
