Pogba led Manchester United out at Old Trafford for the first match of the Premier League season.
It wasn’t a dream start, but Manchester United scored the all-important three points off their first match against Leicester. Paul Pogba captained United in their first league game of the season, and scored a penalty goal merely a minute into the match.
The midfielder delivered a strong performance and even talked in the post-interview about the importance of the captain’s armband. He insisted that United needs to continue winning and that is aim is to win trophies at the club. However, his tweet after the match left the fans remaining doubtful on his future at the club.
Pogba took to Twitter to acknowledge his appreciation after the match. He wrote, “I’ll always give my best to the fans and my teammates no matter what’s going on. #pogfeelings.”

The supporters, however, were left confused with the phrasing of the tweet and voiced their concerns.
I don’t like this tweet… not one bit. FFS.

Paul Pogba has had a troublesome season with Manchester United in 2017/18, and the midfielder was even dropped by manager Jose Mourinho for lack of consistency. Various reports suggested that Pogba and the Portuguese manager don’t maintain a friendly relationship and the Frenchman wants a move out.
The Barcelona fans, meanwhile, rejoiced at the cryptic tweet from Pogba.
“No matter whats going on”??? Barca negotations… Welcome to the Catalan😉
