Paul Scholes shockingly calls Manchester United's frontline as good as any in Europe

Paul Scholes shockingly calls Manchester United’s frontline on par with fiercest attacking forces in Europe after the Red Devils’ victory.

Manchester United was impressive in the last game against Burnley, a performance which Ole Solskjaer’s men lacked against the smaller teams which like to sit back.

But with every Manchester United win, fans and former players of the club tend to go overboard. After last night win against Burnley, Manchester United legend Paul Scholes was full of praises for his former side.

In the BT Sport studio talking about this current United squad when he made a pretty outrageous claim after seeing Manchester United’s frontline performing brilliantly.

“The front three excite me. I think the front three are as good as any team in the league or any team in Europe when you look at it,” Scholes claimed.

“When Martial is running at you, when Rashford is running at you. Daniel James has been brilliant.” he further said. Surely, the claim seems to be a bit of a stretch.

Considering Scholes is comparing them with the likes of attack in Liverpool and Barcelona. Jurgen Klopp’s Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane have been exceptional since last 2017.

On the other hand, there should not be any near comparison with Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Antoine Griezmann. The front three of Manchester United has a lot to prove.

First of all, Anthony Martial’s struggling fitness has kept him away for so long that the trio has no legitimatized claim to be the best. Moreover, both Liverpool and Barcelona are dominating their respective domestic leagues and are powerhouses in Europe, Manchester United under the current trio is far being from one.

Although, Marcus Rashford and Daniel James have great potentials but they need to perform consistently to be called as one of the best players in the world.
