The Payday franchise is getting its newest installment in the form of Payday 3 this year. Let us look at everything we know so far.
Payday is a decade-old franchise, with its first installment back in 2011. The game is a first-person shooter to steal and rob a person, bank, or take hostages. The first game generally received positive reviews and revolved around 4 core characters. Dallas, Hoxton, Chains, and Wolf are the four characters, and the newest installment will bring them back. Let us look at how this happens.

The first game involved stealing from the World Bank, while the second game had the gang infiltrate the White House to erase their criminal past. However, after the second game, the four thieves went their separate ways to pursue their lives. However, the third game will bring the four thieves back. Something motivates the gang to return to a life of crime, but we do not know yet.
The game will be set in 2020. Fans are excited to see what Overkill Software and Starbreeze Studios (The Developers of the game) can do for the franchise. The game will also include the wave of Cryptocurrency that followed the investment world. Talking about the release date, we do not have an idea. There is no official release date for the game. However, we suspect something towards the fourth quarter of 2023 as it is the latest this game can release.

We also know that the game will have 18 months of post-launch support, so expect more content after release and immediate bug fixes, if any. The game is being developed with the Unreal Engine, so it is bound to be a banger. The last game, i.e., Payday 2, was released in 2013, so the Payday Franchise has not seen a game in a decade.
