Rohit Sharma has come off age in ODI cricket in the last few years, ever since he was drafted in into the opening slot. He has been converting those starts into huge hundreds and has been playing with a lot of responsibility off late.

Rohit Sharma has had a very good last week, leading his nation for the first time in an international series and then scoring his third double hundred to make the headlines with the bat once again

Rohit’s supreme double delight helped India level the series after having been humiliated in the 1st ODI in Dharamshala. India then pulled off a spectacular win in the third match to confirm their 2-1 series victory.

The best moment recorded in the recently-concluded series so far was when Rohit Sharma dedicated his double hundred to his wife Ritika Sajdeh. Ritika couldn’t hold back her tears, as Rohit had brought up his 3rd double hundred on the day of his wedding anniversary.

Amidst all the cheers and praises that kept pouring in for hitman, Rohit’s ex-girlfriend Sofia Hayat didn’t acknowledge his efforts but rather stressed on ‘gender discrimination’, as people were not so elated when Kanchanmala won the

Sofia Hayat feels that people’s mentality is not right. Everyone was busy on Rohit but not on Kanchanmala who won the Olympics with her disability.

“I am happy that Rohit is gaining success. But wondering how people are discriminating things on gender. Rohit should understand it is just a ‘bat-ball’ game.

Just that he is a man, so people are clapping. No one went this crazy when Kanchanmala (Pande) won the Olympics even with her disability.

That was something more encouraging and should have been more praised as per my opinion. I would be celebrating something better or social cause, not on this for sure,” said Sofia said while speaking to International Business Times.

Talking about Rohit Sharma’s celebration, she said that Rohit has the habit of celebrating his success with his partner. Sofia also added saying that she only cried when Rohit failed in his career.

“He has this old habit to credit his partner. When I was in his life, I used to be credited but I use to cry only when he played bad.

I’m happy that Rohit has finally found someone who is trying to make him move on from me,” said Sofia.

It is no secret that in early 2017, Sofia uploaded a picture of her Twitter account after blocking her former boyfriend (Rohit Sharma) and mentioned it as “So I had to block him in the end.”

Though Rohit Sharma had struggles in his early stages of his career, he sketched a route map to relish the taste for success at the best scene.

Rohit Sharma has some part of work left to do as an interim skipper when India take on Sri Lanka for the first of the three-match T20I series, starting today at Cuttack.
