TheSportsRush brings predicted Manchester United’s XI vs Brighton as Mourinho’s side hopes to score another three points.

Manchester United visit the Amex Stadium in their second Premier League fixture on Sunday evening. The Red Devils will play Brighton & Hove Albion with the aim of getting all three points.

Despite the win against Leicester City last weekend, Mourinho would have learnt a few things from the game and will want to implement his knowledge on this one. Let’s have a look at the Red Devils’ likely starting line-up

DEFENCE

David De Gea made some sensational saves at the Old Trafford last week. He is sure shot starter and one could bet his entire wealth on the Spanish goalie starting between the posts.

An injury to Antonio Valencia would Matteo Darmian continue to play right back. Eric Bailly and Victor Lindelof were a fabulous pairing at central defence against the Foxes and are tipped to start together once again. Luke Shaw made a fantastic start to the new season with a goal against Leicester and was the subject of high praise from Jose Mourinho. Him starting in defence seems imminent.

MIDFIELD

Andreas Pereira is likely to hold the defensive line behind him in the absence of Nemanja Matic. The 22 year old stood out on his pre-season and earned the laurels from Mourinho.

Fred’s agility and tackling left every United fan in awe of him. He should also be a safe bet to start against Chris Hughton’s team. Paul Pogba is in fantastic form and also scored a goal against Leicester City. Him getting the captain’s armband apart from a start seems to be a guarantee for a second match running.

ATTACK

Juan Mata played some beautiful long balls last week and impressed his manager. Lack of options at right wing would see the former Chelsea attacker start against the Dolphins.

Alexis Sanchez earned United’s penalty and provided a few good passes which were sadly not finished off. He is a vital cog in the United team and will be a starter against Brighton.

Romelu Lukaku came on to play in the closing stages of the last match. However, he is now completely fit and will replace Marcus Rashford as the striker. He missed a sitter on his cameo appearance last week and sent the Reds’ fan base into frenzy. He will be looking to add at least one goal this weekend.

Manchester United’s predicted XI – De Gea; Darmian, Lindelof, Bailly, Shaw; Andreas Pereira, Fred, Pogba; Mata, Lukaku, Alexis
