After a dominating series win over Australia, team India will now take on the Black Caps in a three ODI and three T20 series starting from today.

Kohli’s team India has dominated teams over the last year, with their 4-1 thrashing of the Aussies almost seeming like the changing of the guard. India have not only beaten England, Sri Lanka and Australia over the last year, but dominated these teams with an air of arrogance about them.

Now with New Zealand coming to their shores, Kohli’s men will want to continue this hot streak that they are on right now and will want to wrap this series up quickly.

The first ODI will take place in Mumbai with both sides looking to get a win on the board. India’s batting will have a familiar look to it as Rohit Sharma will be joined by Shikhar Dhawan at the top of the order.

Kohli will bat at three and will be looking to make up for his relatively disappointing series against Australia. Manish Pandey will have another chance and you can’t help but feel that this is the last chance saloon for the Karnataka batsman.

MS Dhoni, Pandya and Jadhav will make up the rest of the middle order as they will provide the firepower at the death. After their brilliant performances against the Aussies, Chahal and Yadav will look to contribute again with the ball.

You can be sure that the team management will be looking at how the spin duo will perform in this series, as they try to cement their place in the Indian side. And finally Bumrah and Bhuvi will lead the bowling attack with the new ball.

INDIA:

Rohit, Dhawan, Kohli, Pandey, Pandya, Dhoni, Jadhav, Yadav, Bhuvi, Chahal, Bumrah
