Premier League Transfer News: Arsenal and Liverpool contacted Moussa Dembele to inquire the availability of the star amid transfer window.
According to a report by L’Equipe, a per Daily record, Lyon’s star striker Moussa Dembele is now under the radar of Arsenal and Liverpool, as both the clubs are looking forward to bolster their squads ahead of the next season.
Moussa Dembele is deemed as the next big thing as his exploits in Lyon and Celtics have raised the eyebrows of several clubs including Arsenal and Liverpool.
The player has been phenomenal as he has amassed 21 goals and 4 assists across all competitions this season. The 22-year-old player has gained eminence ever since he moved to France.
Arsenal are seeking to hire the services of the player, as recent reports of Pierre Aubameyang moving away from the North London club is propelling the Gunners to look for suitable replacement. Thus, making him a viable option.
Whereas, Liverpool are looking to add depth in the squad, as they seek quality backup players at the forward line. Moreover, Jurgen Klopp is also planning to make major transformations in the squad and finds Dembele as a suitable candidate.
However, Lyon’s sporting director Juninho insists Dembele will not be heading for the exit as of now.
“There will be only be three departures from the club this summer and they won’t be either Moussa Dembele or Memphis Depay. Moussa’s form has been a nice surprise for us this season.
“He’s very good technically and we want to build on that. We want to keep him and we will.” said Juninho.
Although, considering the market is getting hot for the prolific striker. Dembele can be lured by lucrative offers.
