Priya Prakash Varrier’s favourite cricketer is MS Dhoni
Priya Prakash Varrier has taken over social media over the last few days, as the gorgeous Malayali actress has quickly become the national crush of India.
One wink is all it took for Priya to become an internet sensation, as she has gained more than 2.5 million followers in just a couple of days!
Her family don’t know what to make of their daughter’s sudden fame and popularity, as Priya has quickly become one of the most recognizable faces in the country.
Priya herself was quite overwhelmed, as she recently spoke of her overnight success.
“I feel overwhelmed. I don’t know how to express my excitement. There was an event organized at my college to celebrate the success of our song. All these are new experiences for me. I wish this support stays with me.”
The beautiful teenager aspires to become an actress, as this is the old profession that she wanted to pursue in her career.
Priya came in to the lime after the teaser of her film, Oru Adaar Love. The song “Manikya malaraya poovi” in her movie gained almost 10,000,000 views on YouTube till Tuesday evening.
Priya has also admitted that her favourite cricketer is MS Dhoni.
“Dhoni is my favorite cricketer,” she said.
It is no surprise that Dhoni is her favourite cricketer, as South India have always had a special affinity to the Ranchi man. Dhoni’s CSK colours have played their part as well, as India’s last world cup winning captain is one of the most popular personalities in India.
