Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart to Release on PC

Nixxes Software has collaborated with Insomniac Games to release Ratchet and Clank for PC. Julian Hujibregts, the Online Community Specialist at Nixxes Software, talked about how the game is an excellent start for players looking to introduce themselves to the franchise.

If you haven’t played a game from this series before, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is an excellent one to start with. The game is a visual spectacle that is perfectly suitable for newcomers thanks to a standalone storyline and the introduction of two brand new characters: Rivet & Kit.

Release Date

The game was originally released on June 11, 2021, as a PS5 Exclusive. But now, it will release for PC on July 26th. Players can pre-purchase the game on various gaming outlets we will discuss later. There are a whole host of features you can experience on PC that are not possible to render even on the PS5. The PC version will have ray-traced reflections with multiple quality levels, ray-traced shadows, ultra-wide monitor support, and more. The developers have also added support for 21:9, 32:9, and up to 48:9 resolutions which players can use to play on a triple monitor setup.

The developers have used the latest upscaling technology to ensure that one can get the highest of framerates depending on their system. The choices for those technologies are NVIDIA DLSS 3, AMD FSR 2, Intel XeSS NVIDIA Reflex, and NVIDIA DLAA.

Lastly, the game also offers mouse and keyboard support with full-on customization freedom. There is controller support for the game as well. When you connect the DualSense, you will be able to feel the vibrations triggered by the sequences in the game.

Purchase Details

We have the pre-purchase details of the game and it seems the standard edition of the game will be $59.99. However, the game’s Deluxe Edition will net the players some bonus skins. These skins are five armor skins inspired by the previous games.

For the standard edition, you can pre-purchase the game by going to Epic Games or the Steam store. If you do, you can get the Pixelizer Weapon and the Carbonox Armor Set when the game launches.

Those are all the details you need to know about the Ratchet and Clank PC release. The game launches on July 26th. For more Gaming news, click here.
