Ravindra Jadeja trolls Umesh Yadav: The Indian all-rounder taunted the fast bowler over his latest social media post.

India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja didn’t hesitate from taking a dig at fast bowler Umesh Yadav over the latter’s latest weight-lifting post on social media platform Instagram.

It all started after Yadav uploaded a video of him lifting weights on his Instagram account. Not part of India’s limited-overs squad for the ongoing series against Sri Lanka, the 32-year old player was seen training in the video.

However, his choice of weights didn’t go down too well with Jadeja who immediately posted a comment on the post. “Ladkiya itna weight uthati hai [Girls lift this much weight],” read Jadeja’s comment.

It was at this point in time that Yadav defended his choice of weight by replying to Jadeja in a filmy style. Using a famous Hindi-movie dialogue, Yadav wrote, “Yeh toh sirf teaser tha, Picture abhi baaki hai mere dost [Dear friend, this is just a teaser. The whole movie is yet to come]”.

As far as the sport is concerned, Jadeja is currently part of the Indian team for the home series against Sri Lanka. The 31-year old player is fighting it out to retain his place in the T20I squad for the looming ICC T20 World Cup in Australia.

Talking about Yadav, he was last seen at the highest level during the historic day-night Test with the pink ball against Bangladesh in Kolkata. In the two Ranji Trophy matches that he has played for Vidarbha of late, he ended up picking his 15th First-class five-wicket haul against Rajasthan in Nagpur.
