RCB Memes: Twitter users continued to post funny memes after RCB ended up losing another IPL 2019 match vs Mumbai Indians.

During the 31st match of the ongoing 12th season of the Indian Premier League between Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore at Mumbai, Mumbai Indians defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by 5 wickets to register their fifth IPL 2019 victory.

Chasing a 172-run target, Mumbai Indians started on a brilliant note on the back of a 70-run opening stand between captain Rohit Sharma (28) and wicket-keeper batsman Quinton de Kock (40).

While the first 70 runs came in seven overs, Indians suffered a setback in the form of wickets at regular intervals. With RCB’s spinners turning the ball square at the Wankhede Stadium, the hosts’ batsmen found run-scoring difficult as RCB paved their way back into the match.

With 45 runs required in the last five overs, MI seemed the favourites but RCB leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal dismissing Suryakumar Yadav (29) kept the match in balance. Krunal Pandya’s (11) dismissal in the 18th over further saw MI sinking.

However, all-rounder Hardik Pandya once again stepped up in a crunch situation hitting 22 runs off Pawan Negi in the penultimate over as MI sealed the chase with an over to spare. Pandya ended up scoring 37* (16) with the help of five fours and two sixes.

After Mumbai captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and put RCB in to bat, the visitors ended up scoring 171/7 in their allotted quota of 20 overs. Coming in to bat at No. 3 in the third over, AB de Villiers was the highest run-scorer for Bangalore.

Before getting out in the last over, de Villiers ended up scoring 75 (51) with the help of six fours and four sixes. With bowling figures of 4-0-31-4, veteran fast bowler Lasith Malinga was the pick of Royal Challengers’ bowlers.
