RCB vs DC Dream11 Prediction: Dream11 Fantasy Tips for RCB vs DC as The SportsRush helps you form the best possible Dream11 team

Virat Kohli and his wounded RCB side take the field once again on Sunday after ‘Russellmania’ hit them hard on Friday evening, leaving the RCB fraternity shell shocked.

AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli setup the total for RCB, following a breathtaking 100 run stand between two of the best batsmen of this generation. However, in the end that did not prove to be enough, as the KKR batting unit, led by the freak show by Russell that completely dismantled RCB hopes at the end.

The RCB bowlers will have to shoulder blame for last night’s loss, as they kept feeding Russell length ball and  he kept feasting on them with no mercy. Virat Kohli was extremely critical of his bowlers and wanted them to go back and review their performance.

DC too find themselves with their backs against the wall, as they have lost 2 of their last 2 games and seem a little lost with respect too team combination and form.

Rishabh Pant hasn’t fired in the last 3 games and will be itching to get back to form for DC at the Chinnaswamy. He fancies the RCB attack, having scored 85 and 61 in the two games against them last season.

Let’s get to business now

RCB vs DC Dream11 Prediction

Wicketkeeper for RCB vs DC Dream11

For the wicketkeeping slot, it is going to be a straight shootout between Rishabh Pant and Parthiv Patel. I’ll be getting in Rishabh Pant, because of the Chinnaswamy wicket and the fact that he had a good time facing the RCB attack last season(he scored 85 and 61). On those short Chinnaswamy boundaries, Pant could go ballistic; get him in.

Bowlers for RCB vs DC Dream11

From what we saw in the RCB vs KKR game, the Bangalore wicket has once again started to offer some assistance to the spinners. And if anyone can exploit those favourable conditions, it has be the current purple cap holder Yuzvendra Chahal. 9 wickets in 5 games, Chahal has slowly emerged as RCB’s go-to bowler. With DC having 4 right handers in their top 8, I expect Chahal to dominate them in the middle phase of the innings. Moreover, Chahal bowls extremely well to the left-handers as well and hence you can be rest assured that Chahal will shower you with Dream11 Fantasy points.

Pawan Negi proved to be the game changer in the game vs KKR, when he halted the KKR run-rate during the middle phase with his wonderful left-arm tweakers. Negi can also use the long-handle coming down the order and helps me with the budget constraints.

For my final bowling pick, I get in Navdeep Saini, who has been RCB’s most impressive fast bowler this season. With Siraj and Umesh getting tonked all over, Saini has held his own even the situation gets out of hand. He has been bowling at pace and could knock over the DC middle and lower order. Moreover, coming in at just 8 cr, he too helps me get the big boys from the batsmen and all-rounders category.

All-Rounders for RCB vs DC Dream11

Marcus Stoinis has been drafted into the RCB XI to provide the team with some all-round balance. Coming in the middle order, he was able to use the long handle to good effect towards the end after a brilliant AB-Kohli show.

While his bowling figures were torn apart by Andre Russell at the end, he does give you the option of helping yourself to a few bowling Dream11 points as well. His ‘double scoring’ potential is what warrants a place for him in my side.

Chris Morris has been DC’s lynchpin for a long time now. When the DC top order refuses to fire, there is always Morris waiting in the ranks to unleash and still help DC post a good enough total. When other bowlers refuse to fire, Morris steps up and bails Delhi out. He has been on song with the ball in this season well, shouldering the responsibility to bowl at least two overs at the death. DC depend on him, you should too.

For my third all-rounder spot, I will be getting in Washington Sundar, who I expect Virat Kohli will pick for Sunday afternoon’s game, especially after the kind of spin the spinners were able to extract from the surface on Friday night. Coming in for just 8cr, he helps me with the budget constraint and could also act as my trump card for Sunday’s game.

Batsmen for RCB vs DC Dream11

The combination of AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli has always served me well. The duo got back to their best in the last game vs KKR, scripting a 100 run partnership together and giving RCB some hope. While the bowlers did not live up to the expectations, from a Dream11 Fantasy perspective, get these two in no matter what RCB do with their team selection.

Shreyas Iyer has been a constant in my Dream11 side this season, because of his batting position and the kind of poise he brings to that DC batting unit, make me trust him a little more than the DC openers. Moreover, he is not going to be up against the new ball, something that could cause a little trouble to any batsman when it is moving around a little. While Chinnaswamy might not offer the fast bowlers much, I would still say that Shreyas Iyer is a safer pick.

For my final pick for this game, I would be getting in the belligerent Prithvi Shaw. I had the option of bringing in one from Shaw and Dhawan and I went in with Shaw because of the budget issue. I would advise you to pick Dhawan over Shaw every day of the week, for the kind of solidity in Dhawan’s batting. However, due to the budget constraint I go in with Shaw ahead of any other batsman because of his batting style and how the flat wicket at Chinnaswamy would aid that. Also, the short boundaries in Bangalore could play into his hands too.
