RCB vs KXIP Head to Head Stats

RCB vs KXIP Head to Head Stats: The Sportsrush presents before you the Head to Head statistics for 42nd match of IPL 2019.

Going to Mohali when the KXIP and RCB had faced off against each other, the Royal Challengers Bangalore had managed to break their floundering form in the Indian Premier League. An 85-run stand between their two mainstays Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers had pummeled Chris Gayle’s clean hitting 99* to put on the first points on the board for the Challengers.

Having won two matches on the bounce for the first time this season, the Virat Kohli-led side RCB will be looking to emulate that same form going into Wednesday’s encounter. In Punjab, they take on an opposition KXIP that they’ve heavily dominated recently with 3 wins out of 3 seeing them unbeaten against the opposition since 2018.

Last year’s edition of the IPL was when RCB had finally begun filling up the gaps in what was a one-sided record in Punjab’s favour. Bowling out Punjab for just 88 runs with Umesh Yadav picking up 3 wickets, Kohli (48) and Parthiv (40) had chased down the lowly target in just 9.2 overs to give their side an emphatic win.

This was preceding a 4-wicket win for RCB in their own stadium, one where they had chased down 156 with 4 balls to spare. A middle-order collapse had seen RCB slump in their aim before AB de Villiers’s half-century took them to the 2 points.
