Defending La Liga champions, Real Madrid, are willing to offer injury-prone superstar, Gareth Bale back to Tottenham Hotspur, in an attempt to seal the signature of Harry Kane.

This would equal to a £150 million cash+player deal for Tottenham’s superstar striker.

Gareth Bale joined Real Madrid back in 2013 from Tottenham Hotspur for a then-world record fee of £87 million.

The agreement between the two clubs stated that Spurs will be informed about any offer made by any Premier League side for Bale, and Spurs will have the option to match that offer.

Gareth Bale has had an injury-filled career with the Los Blancos, after winning the UEFA Champions League and Copa del Rey in his first season with the club.

The Welshman has only managed 4 La Liga starts this season, being injured on a consistent basis.

On the other hand, apart from Tottenham, Manchester United have also been heavily linked with Gareth Bale, with the Red Devils also interested in Englishman, Harry Kane.

However, the Daily Star suggests that Manchester United are afraid that Harry Kane will make the move to Real Madrid, with Gareth Bale reportedly going the other way.

Nevertheless, Harry Kane is expected to complete the remaining of the 2017-18 season at Tottenham, with a deal of cash+Gareth Bale being prepared for him for next summer.

Spurs chairman Daniel Levy and manager Mauricio Pochettino, however, are confident that the 24-year-old will remain at the English club.

One of the major problems for Spurs in getting Gareth Bale involved in a deal for Harry Kane is Bale’s huge salary of £300k-a-week at Real Madrid.

However, Real Madrid are very interested in signing the Englishman, with Kane ending 2017 as the highest goalscorer in Europe. Los Blancos are pursuing the player, and are investigating ways to seal the deal for him.

Looks like we might see a happy reunion for Gareth Bale next summer!
