Real Madrid transfer news: The Spanish Giants are open to selling Isco and Asensio to fund Pogba transfer from Manchester United this transfer season.
Real Madrid have had a very eventful transfer season this time. After a few years of quite and calm, the Spanish giants have gone about their business very typical and reminiscent of the Galactico Era.

Real Madrid have already spent over €300 million on Eder Militao, Rodrygo Goes, Luka Jovic, Fernald Mendy and Eden Hazard. Manager Zinedine Zidane however, is still keen on adding a marquee mid-fielder to the side.
The Frenchman has been explicit in his desire to bring in compatriot Paul Pogba from Manchester United. However, his price tag of £150m continues to be a problem for him. This has forced the club to resort to desperate measures.
Isco and Asensio for sale
ESPN FC have reported that Real Madrid are open to selling Isco and Marco Asensio as long as they are compensated enough to reinvest the money into Paul Pogba’s transfer. They are open to bringing in another similarly statured mid-fielder but Pogba remains the priority at the moment.

They have also reported that German side Borussia Dortmund made an enquiry into Isco’s transfer. Their advances have been rejected though after the 27-year-old deemed them not important enough.
Isco wants to stay in the club and fight for his place. Espescially after his exile from the team ended under the returning Zidane. Asensio on the other hand, is being given one last chance after his disastrous last season and will only be sold if a crazy offer is made. The player is said to be keen to take this opportunity to earn a regular starting spot during 2019-20.
