TheSportsRush brings Real Madrid vs Viktoria Plzen highlights as Real finally secure three points.
Real Madrid registered a win in their Champions League tie against Viktoria Plzen. Goals from Karim Benzema and Marcelo secured three points for Real Madrid. Plzen, however, pulled one back late in the second half, but couldn’t stop the Los Blancos from winning the game.
The win was significant for Julen Lopetegui at this stage, as there have been speculations in the Spanish media that the manager could face the sack.
During the pre-match conference, Lopetegui was even asked if he could guarantee his place on the away bench against Barcelona this weekend. The Real Madrid manager, surprisingly, didn’t dismiss the claim straightaway.
With this win, Real Madrid are back to first position in their group, with Italian side Roma at second.

We scored, we conceded, we won, we lost a crucial player right before the Clásico and Sergio Ramos got a yellow card. Real Madrid is truly back.
