According to Don Balon,  Los Blancos are serious about their interest in the Egyptian who has taken the Premier League by storm this season.

Madrid are readying a player-plus-cash deal to take Mo Salah to the Bernabeu – and are willing to offload Lucas Vazquez in the other direction.

Zinedine Zidane reportedly wants attacking reinforcements with Real sitting eight points adrift of La Liga leaders Barcelona.

Pressure has been growing on Zidane to turn results around quickly and he has already openly admitted he will be looking to strengthen the squad in January.

The Frenchman was keen on securing the services of Inter Milan froward Mauro Icardi but the price he was quoted was apparently ‘too expensive’.

The Egypt international has scored 19 goals in 24 appearances across all competition and tops the Premier League scoring chart with 13 strikes.

The 35 million price tag seems a paltry sum for his performances for the Reds and is one of the best bargains of the summer.

The front four- Firminho, Coutinho, Salah and Mane have left the opposition defence down on their knees.

Vasquez, on the other hand scored four goals and provided 14 assists as Real clinched a famous La Liga and Champions League double last season but has struggled for game time this term with the rise of Assensio and Isco being preferred by Zidane out wide.

The Spain international has started just eight games in all competitions and Real are reportedly willing to let him leave the Bernabeu.

Perez hopes Vazquez can boost the club’s hopes of signing Salah but Don Balon add that Roma are also interested in signing the 26-year-old wide man.

However, it is unlikely Klopp will want to sell his star man, especially as just four points separate third-placed Chelsea and Burnley, in seventh.

But with Real Madrid you just never know as they usually get who ever they want.

Better watch out Klopp!
