Real Madrid will aim to put pressure on Atletico Madrid as they take on Leganes in the La Liga on Monday night. We take a look at RM vs LEG Dream 11 prediction.
Real Madrid will be taking on Leganes on Monday night as the side eyes a second-place finish in the La Liga.
The Los Blancos have had a tough season so far, but made steady recovery ever since the arrival of Zinedine Zidane. Even when their performances haven’t been convincing, Real Madrid churned out positive results and currently stand only two points behind Atletico Madrid.
With Barcelona out-of-reach in the table, Real Madrid can realistically aim for a second spot in the La Liga table.
Let’s take a look at the Dream 11 prediction for the game between Leganes and Real Madrid. For Real Madrid’s predicted line up, click here.
RM vs LEG Dream 11 prediction:
Goalkeeper: Keylor Navas
Keylor Navas has been Zidane’s go-to man ever since his second arrival at the club. Navas has also produced impressive performances since he was reinstated to the squad.
I expect Zidane to field his strongest possible line up for this game as Real Madrid now have a good chance of leapfrogging Atletico Madrid in the league. The side is knocked out of all the other competitions this season, so they can solely focus on the top flight games.
Defence: Silva, Varane, Odriozola
I expect Raphael Varane to play in this game as Sergio Ramos remains unavailable. Alvaro Odriozola has been impressive for Real Madrid and is strong defensively.
From Leganes, I put my money on Jonathan Silva. The Argentine left-back, who joined the Spanish side on loan from Sporting CP, has made the most of his opportunities at Leganes. He will be a key part in the defence against a Real Madrid side which hasn’t been convincing in their performances.
Midfield: Rodriguez, Zhar, Modric, Bale, Isco
Former Real Madrid man Oscar Rodriguez, as well as Nabil el Zhar, have both been important for Leganes this season. The duo form an important part of Leganes midfield and will have an important role to play against Real Madrid.
Gareth Bale has shown promises and I count on him to step up against Leganes on Monday night. Isco and Modric are also expected to start in the game, and hence, I’ve selected them in my Dream 11 side.
Forward: Benzema, Carrillo
Karim Benzema has been in tremendous form for Real Madrid in the past few weeks. He rescued the Los Blancos in the game against Eibar, scoring both the goals in a 2-1 win. Zidane will count on him to be the key attacker as Real Madrid lines up against Leganes.
From the other side, I’ve selected Guido Carrillo in the side, as he has had a knack of scoring in big games. In this season, he has scored against both, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid.
