Rohit Sharma and Shah Rukh Khan exchange pleasant tweets: Both the personalities were seen bonding over Twitter.

While as many as three IPL (Indian Premier League) franchises were involved in a Twitter banter today, the same platform saw two leading Indian celebrities exchange pleasant tweets. The contrasting acts happening on the same day speaks highly about the varying nature of social media platforms.

The celebrities mentioned above are Indian opening batsmen and vice-captain in limited-overs cricket Rohit Sharma and Badshah of Bollywood – Shah Rukh Khan. It all started with Khan posting a video on his Twitter account.

Apparently, one of his super-hit movies in ‘Baazigar’ had completed 25 years yesterday. In an attempt to celebrate the occasion, Khan was seen reciting one of the most iconic dialogues from not just the movie but his career. Watch the video below:

 

As is the case with a plethora of his fans, the appeared to be with arguably the world’s best opening batsman in limited-overs at the moment, Rohit Sharma. The 31-year old cricketer retweeted the tweet, writing that Baazigar remains one of his top movies. Read his tweet below:

Sharma further requested Khan to perform at the Eden Gardens, so that he can add the performance to his fond memories from the stadium. While playing for both India and Mumbai Indians, Sharma possesses a stellar record at the venue. Incidentally, it is the home ground of Khan-owned IPL franchise, Kolkata Knight Riders.
