Rohit Sharma trolls Yuzvendra Chahal on Instagram after the leg spinner posted a promotional picture of himself earlier in the night.

Rohit Sharma and Yuzvendra Chahal have been integral members of the Indian team during the ongoing World cup. The opener has already scored 4 centuries in the quadrennial event. With India already qualified for the semi-finals, Rohit looks good for more.

However, Rohit’s savagery does not end with the bat. Rohit has shown in numerous interviews recently that he has a humorous side to him. He fielded questions after the Pakistan and England matches and handled them with humor and class.

Rohit Sharma was at it once again but this time it came at the expense of team mate Yuzvendra Chahal. The Leg spinner posted a picture of himself on Instagram. The Brand advertisement post was captioned “Express Yourself @cheqmateindia”.

The devastating opener saw an opportunity and took it to express his hilarity. Rohit commented: “Shoes bada lag raha hai tere chehre se” (Your shoes are looking bigger than your face)

The fact that the comment is actually true is what makes it funny. Chahal has sported fancy shoes, that while good, look a size or two bigger on him.

India will take on Sri Lanka in the final match of the group stage in Headingly, Leeds on July 6th. India can end the group stages on pole position if they win against Sri Lanka and Australia fumble against South Africa.

The semi-finals will take place on the 9th and 11th of July. The first placed team will take on the fourth. While the 2nd placed team will square off with the 3rd. The final of the ICC world cup is scheduled for the 14th of this month.

Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
