Romelu Lukaku showed immense strength as he didn’t even flinch after Ryan Bertrand tackled him dangerously on the line.
Romelu Lukaku scored a late winner for Manchester United as Solskjaer’s side scripted yet another brilliant comeback win at Old Trafford.
United shockingly trailed 1-0 in the first half before the side launched a memorable comeback in the second half.
Andreas Pereira scored a brilliant goal from outside the box to give United the equalizer. However, Ward-Prowse brought Southampton back to lead minutes later through a brilliant free-kick.
Diogo Dalot was brought in for an injured Alexis Sanchez and significantly changed the pace of the game as Manchester United led a series of attacks on Southampton’s defence. The side finally managed to penetrate the defence as Lukaku brought United back into the game with a right-footed goal.
Good result yesterday after a cracking game. It’s so odd how Lukaku can finish so sublimely (like his last four goals) and, in the same games, produce some absolute shockers! Doesn’t matter as long as he keeps bagging goals.

Romelu Lukaku, what a match, lad!!
Juz when we needed him to stand up, he did it in style!
4 goals inside 3 days and 3 of em on his weaker foot😱What a way to answer the critics!!
I gotta be honest, I was a bit worried that he will be starting CF cuz he was quite low on— Samuel de Bruyne (@samuel_dB_021) March 3, 2019
Lukaku soon gave Manchester United the lead with a brilliant finish and celebrated with the fans as the side secured another three points in the league.
With this win, Manchester United are now fourth in the Premier League table as they take a point’s lead over Arsenal. Solskjaer’s men are still three points behind Tottenham.
The Belgian forward was brilliant in the game, and in the first half, he showed immense strength in one of the incidents.
Romelu Lukaku was steering forward on the right wing as he led a counter-attack. Ryan Bertrand, however, attempted a Kung Fu-esque kick on the striker.
Lukaku: “I like him (Ole). He’s really open, really honest in his communication. He keeps me hungry so whenever I get a chance to play, I just want what’s best for the team and to help the team win.” #mufc

For the second time in a week, Lukaku has scored twice to win us the game. That’s impressive, especially on the back of how lost he’s looked for large chunks of the season. Should buy him a bit more patience with the fans, as frustrating as he can be.

Despite the force applied from Bertrand, Romelu Lukaku didn’t even flinch and continued as if he hadn’t been tackled at all. Bertrand, however, fell on the ground and was subsequently given a yellow card for the dangerous challenge.
The internet noticed Lukaku’s amazing strength to brush aside Bertrand with such ease.

The forward had been suffering from inconsistent form throughout the season and has been largely resorted to the bench under Solskjaer. However, major injuries to the side’s first-choice attackers gave Lukaku a chance to prove his mettle.
He scored a brace in both the games this week, against Crystal Palace and Southampton respectively.
Manchester United will take on PSG in the heavyweight clash in Paris next week and Romelu Lukaku is upbeat about the side’s chances for the game.

Anyone who thinks Pereira and Lukaku didn’t stink the fuck up in the first half can pick another sport.
In the second half all of them did a line of coke off Wanda Nara’s tit pic and banged 3 goals in.

“I was focussed on the win and help my team-mates. The manager gave me another chance today. We have to look one game at a time and are working hard on the training ground. We are ready for the challenge,” Lukaku said after the game.
The side is also likely to miss its two first-choice midfielders, Nemanja Matic and Ander Herrera. With Paul Pogba suspended for the game, Solskjaer faces a herculean task as United travel to Paris next week.
In the attack, Manchester United may be without Jesse Lingard and Anthony Martial, both of whom were injured in the game against PSG at Old Trafford. Jesse Lingard is feared to have further aggravated his muscle injury during the game against Liverpool, where he was brought on for an injured Juan Mata.
While Mata is also on the sidelines, Solskjaer is likely to take the U23 players with him for the trip to Paris. This week, Joel Garner and Tahith Chong made their Premier League debut with Manchester United.
Diogo Dalot played a crucial role in the game against Southampton as he filled in for Alexis Sanchez on the right wing and changed the pace of the game with ease. He pulled the strings from the moment he came on the pitch as Manchester United secured a comeback victory.
The game against PSG will be followed by a trip to North London where the side takes on Arsenal.
