Ronaldo will not travel to USA

Cristiano Ronaldo will not travel with Juventus for the pre-season tour.

Cristiano Ronaldo, who moved to Juventus last summer will not be traveling to the United States during the upcoming pre-season friendly.  The reigning Italian Champions have confirmed their participation in the International Champions Cup but their games will not be played at the United States.

The reliable outlet The New York Times say that the Italian outfit have been granted by that tournament council to play their games outside that particular country so as to avoid the risk of Cristiano Ronaldo being detained by authorities in relation to the rape allegations against him.

The Portuguese International is currently under investigation by the Las Vegas police after model Kathryn Mayorga claimed that the former Real Madrid forward had rapped him in a hotel room in 2009 and subsequently paid her 350,000 dollars to buy her silence.

Police are said to have reopened the investigation following Kathyrn Mayorga’s decision to break the news suddenly and she had filed a 32-page complaint last month about this barbaric incident which supposedly happened on June 13, 2009, at Las Vegas penthouse suite. In another statement, the police have confirmed that Ronaldo has been accused of sexually assaulting Mayorga in the name of a casual date.

“At the time the report was taken, the victim did not provide detectives with the location of the incident or suspect description. A media exam was conducted. As of September 2018, the case has been reopened and our detectives are following up on information being provided to the victim.”

After this news broke up, Ronaldo took to Twitter to deny the rape averment.

“I firmly deny the accusations being issued against me,” Ronaldo wrote on Twitter. “Rape is an abominable crime that goes against everything that I am and believe in. Keen as I may be to clear my name, I refuse to feed the media spectacle created by people seeking to promote themselves at my expense.
“My clear conscience will thereby allow me to await with tranquility the results of any and all investigations.”

Later, when Ronaldo was asked about the alleged sexual assault, the Portuguese International straightforwardly denied it on Instagram. During a live chat, he said ‘What they said today – fake news’ which was later taken down by himself.

It is understood that Mayorga met Ronaldo at the Rain nightclub and Casino. She gladly accepted following Ronaldo’s approach to invite her to the penthouse. But, the Portuguese international had sexually assaulted her despite Mayorga’s high reluctance. She had gone to the hospital for an examination after the assault had occurred where the doctors have confirmed that was left with bodily injuries.

As a result, Juventus will play their International Champions Cup games in Singapore and China.

Recently, Cristiano Ronaldo got charged by the UEFA for that wild celebration in front of the Atletico Madrid supporters. He will learn his fate later today. It has not been an easy time for the Portuguese International off the field..
