Sachin batting today: Watch Sachin Tendulkar bats against Ellyse Perry in Bushfire Relief Match

Sachin Tendulkar bats against Ellyse Perry: The legendary batsman was seen batting against the illustrious Australian all-rounder.

The ongoing bushfire relief match between Ponting XI and Gilchrist XI at the Junction Oval in Melbourne has brought plentiful fond memories for cricket fans across the world. Numerous sights of legendary cricketers taking the field again witnessed immense response.

If the action in the first innings wasn’t enough, the innings break witnessed Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar face illustrious Australia Women all-rounder Ellysse Perry and Australia seamer Annabel Sutherland.

It all started after Perry’s video of challenging Tendulkar to play an over surfaced over social media platform Twitter. Despite being advised against batting by his doctor due to a shoulder injury, Tendulkar readily agreed to play one over.

Perry bowled a short delivery down the leg-side to start proceedings which was guided down the leg-side by Tendulkar. A mis-field at short fine-leg by a lady firefighter saw Tendulkar scoring a boundary on the first ball that he faced.

Tendulkar, who faced four balls from Perry and two from Sutherland, gave glimpses of a few of his most remembered shots. Him checking a drive down the ground on the last ball off Sutherland seems to have allured the maximum interest among fans.
