Keeping his words, Sachin Tendulkar today gifted PV Sindhu, Sakshi Malik, Dipa Karmakar and badminton coach Pullela Gopichand with brand new BMW cars at a felicitation event event held at P. Gopichand Nimmagadda Prasad Badminton Academy in Hyderabad. Sachin Tendulkar was also the goodwill ambassador of Indian contingent at Rio Olympics.
Coach Gopichand trained Sindhu who won the silver medal in women’s singles, while Sakshi bagged bronze in women’s freestyle wrestling. Although Dipa missed the medal by a whisker, her performance was applauded by one and all. Thanking for the gift, Sakshi requested Tendulkar for a family photograph while Dipa and Sindhu too expressed their joy and thanked the little master for his gesture.

Sakshi, while receiving the gift, made a special request to the little master for a family photograph while the other ladies expressed their joy. Gopichand was all praise for the three girls and mentioned that it was not ‘Save the Girl Child’ but actually ‘Saved by the girl child’ at the Rio Olympics. Well said Sir!
