Since his arrival from Rome, Mohamed Salah has been absolutely phenomenal for Liverpool. After Salah’s unceremonious exit from Chelsea, his return to the Premier League has been nothing short of miraculous.

Liverpool paid £39m to AS Roma for the services of the Egyptian but he proved himself worth every penny. £39m sounds like a bargain now after Salah already having 20 goals under his belt this season.

However, the recent comments by Egypt Manager, Hector Cuper, are surely going to dampen the spirits of the Anfield faithful. Salah’s international boss thinks he’s good enough for Madrid and is ready for the daunting task at the Bernabeu.

What does his boss think about him:

This has fuelled the rumours which were earlier caused by the public admiration of Salah by the Real Madrid Manager, Zinedine Zidane. Zidane said in a press conference, “He[Salah] is a great player; he has shown that in Rome and now in Liverpool. He grows and gets better. He is young and can give even more to football. He is a player that I appreciate a lot.”

When asked about this and a possible move for Salah to the Spanish Capital, his coach, Hector Cuper, told Marca, “Salah is a very good player who has the ability to play for Real Madrid without doubt.” Cuper was talking to Marca at the Dubai Glode Soccer Award on Wednesday.

Salah, second best to Tottenham’s Kane:

Salah has been in scintillating form scoring 15 goals in the Premier League second only to Harry Kane. The Egypt international has also had an impressive start to the Champions League campaign scoring 5 goals in as many games.

On the other hand, Real Madrid have had horrible starts to their defence of both the Champions League and the La Liga. The European Champions will be looking to bolster their squad by making a few signings of their own.

Liverpool fans are surely going to be worried after looking at these recent developments. However, Klopp would hope to hold on to his main man if ever Madrid come calling.

Florentino Perez has repeatedly turned his attention to the Premier League and has taken away its best players to Spain. This time Salah seems to have caught the eye of the Madrid top brass and it won’t be long before Real Madrid arrive at Anfield with a huge bid to lure away the Egyptian Enigma.
