There is no hiding to the fact that the decision of changing the status of Jammu & Kashmir from a state to two Union Territories, namely Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, hasn’t gone down too well with India’s neighbors in Pakistan.
Since the decision was made, there has been public outrage on the same. Several notable Pakistani people took to social media platform Twitter to opine against the topic.
Sarfaraz Ahmed on Article 370
Pakistan captain Sarfaraz Ahmed has become the latest high-profile Pakistani name to comment on Jammu & Kashmir. Speaking to the media after offering Eid prayers in Karachi in the morning, Ahmed extended support to his “Kashmiri Brothers” and hoped for things to improve.
“I pray to the Almighty Allah to help and rescue our Kashmiri brothers sail over these tough times. We all equally share their pain and misery. Entire Pakistan today stands with them,” Ahmed was quoted as saying.
Earlier, former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi had also criticized the Indian government’s decision on Kashmir. Usually vocal about Kashmir, Afridi once again took to Twitter to share his opinion about the same.
Kashmiris must be given their due rights as per #UN resolution. The rights of Freedom like all of us. Why was @UN created & why is it sleeping? The unprovoked aggression & crimes being committed in Kashmir against #Humanity must be noted. The @POTUS must play his role to mediate

As far as the Pakistani cricket team is concerned, there were recent reports of PCB (Pakistan Cricket Board) thinking to opt for split captaincy across format. Much like their arch-rivals India, Pakistan are also looking for a Head Coach.
