SC-W vs ND-W Dream 11 Prediction: Best Dream11 team for today’s Scotland Vs Netherlands | ICC Women’s Qualifiers Europe

SC-W vs ND-W Dream 11 Team: Scotland look to get past a lowly placed Netherlands side in their second match of the opening day

Scotland Vs Netherlands ICC Women’s Qualifiers Europe Best Dream 11 Team

Playing their second match of the tournament in the space of two hours, for favourites Scotland the gameplan against Netherlands will be simple. Billed as the team to end up as table toppers at the culmination of the six scheduled matches, Scotland will be looking to wrap day 1 of the marquee tournament with a win and add to their points tally two crucial points.

The Europe leg of the ICC Women’s Qualifiers sees three teams partake in it with Germany completing the trio of countries vying for a spot in the two slated World Cups qualifiers from the frontier event. Not only does this tournament offer either side the opportunity to showcase their immense skill set on the world stage in an official ICC tournament but also the chance to cement their berth in the upcoming qualification tournaments.

Despite playing in a congested schedule, Scotland should emerge from this with a win. The side are by far the best side in the tournament, intertwining and encapsulating a rapturous brand of cricket which is given birth by some exquisite players who have helped take their team to an unprecedented ascendancy over the course of the last couple of years.

Meanwhile, the Netherlands side will be looking to repeat the same heroics as their men team who trounced Zimbabwe recently. It’s a side on the uprise, seeing some exceptional players make up the playing 11, players who have an affinity to succeed at the global stage and make a mark on the international circuit.

Probable Winner

Despite Netherlands being a strong and stable unit, in Scotland they are up against an opposition who should be too much for them. The side are still relatively inexperienced with the young bunch of players helping take their side to a world ranking of 23 but still needing to imbed the requisite awareness and composure to grind out results from sticky situations.

“I love playing cricket because you can give confidence to your team mates from your own performance, and you can also draw confidence from them, “ Netherlands captain Post said. “We have trained very hard over the whole winter with our young squad, and it would be great to achieve qualification from this event”.

For world ranking 13 Scotland, the story is entirely different though. They have already qualified for the ICC T20 Global Qualifiers and can also assure themselves of a spot in the 2021 ODI Cricket World Cup Qualifiers by winning this tournament. They are the much better side of the two teams at the moment and it’s their complete line-up which should see them get past this match with a win.

Wicket-Keepers for SC-W vs ND-W Dream 11

As per the identity of the opening match, we have selected two wicket-keepers for this match as well, the one from either side. Coming in from Scotland is their flawless player behind the wickets, Sarah Bryce while from Netherlands we have Miranda Veringmeier holding fort for us.

Batting Order for SC-W vs ND-W Dream 11

We have decided to not make too many unwarranted selections on the opening day of the tournament and given the way these two teams usually bat, we have kept our options limited when it comes to picking out the batting order. It’s the three picks only with Scotland dominating given the articulate nature of the duo we have opted for.

Charis Scott and Becky Glen are the two players we have decided to incur into our line-up given the way these two have thwarted opposition bowling units over the course of recent time and left them pummelled with their clean hitting abilities. From Netherlands we have picked up their captain Juleit Post to come in and try to add the much needed runs to her side’s total.

All-Rounders for SC-W vs ND-W Dream 11

Scotland captain Kathryn Bryce makes a foray into our playing 11 without any hesitation. By far the most exquisite player from both the sides, she’s lead her side perfectly, encapsulating sublime performances with both the bat and ball. A basket of points, her 8 wickets and 129 runs in recent time speak volumes about her abilities as a player, a testament to how pristine a performer she is.

Accompanying her will be Rachel Scholes while from Netherlands we have again picked up the one player in the form of Heather Siegers.

Bowling Order for SC-W vs ND-W Dream 11

The bowling department is where we have bolstered our picks from Netherlands. For Scotland, this match is going to be much trickier than their opening encounter against Germany and the two woman partnership of Caroline de Lange and Iris Zwilling from Netherlands is bound to make things tough for them.

Abtaha Maqsood from Scotland wraps up our Dream 11 side for the day.

Captain And Vice-Captain

Kathryn Bryce gets the onus of being our captain while from Netherlands, it’s her counterpart Heather Siegers who is our vice-captain.
